Internet Archive Europe, a Dutch non-profit research library, is building collections and tools to bring them to life. Working with libraries, museums, and archives, we share these tools and collections to further everyone’s services.
@roadskater @openstreetmap (he is a she) and certainly didn’t mean to offend. 👋 It was supposed to be a silly joke and the video shows the joy we had adding and contributing to open data! Hope you watched it.
Thank you for all your time contributing to make the OSM project better! We are so happy to be a new data point. 😄
@tommi and we are super happy! Thanks for making it happen!
If you’re not on Open Street Map do you even exist? 😆 Well, now the Internet Archive Europe is officially on and off line! 🙌 Come visit us when we have reading room hours and open events. Stay tuned for more into about that later on.
We had an amazing launch of our new headquarters in Amsterdam. Thank you to everyone who made it a fantastic afternoon and it was a beautiful sunny day! Such great luck. Sebastian’s photos did a great job capturing the atmosphere and enthusiasm. https://www.flickr.com/photos/ter-burg/albums/72177720329142407/
In an era where websites disappear and change at a rapid pace, safeguarding our digital cultural heritage has never been more urgent. We had a great event yesterday at @kbnationalebibliotheek in the Hague and many thanks to Sebastian of
@europeana for sharing his beautiful photos of the afternoon. #NationaleBibliotheek
